The first 30 days: learn the ground

Relocation buyers often arrive under time pressure. Resist the urge to decide in week one. Use the first month to understand the communities, the commute realities, and how price points differ between areas that can look similar on a map.

Days 30 to 60: define the brief

By the second month, narrow to two or three communities and a clear brief: must-haves, deal-breakers, and the lifestyle trade-offs you accept. This is also when financing should be organized if it will be a financed purchase.

Days 60 to 90: act deliberately

With a brief and financing in place, you can move on the right property without rushing. A disciplined 90-day plan lets you buy with confidence instead of urgency.
